Quick Quote

A European geography lesson courtesy of 5 year old Bea: "Mom! Did you know there's a whole country in Asia that hangs down at the bottom and is shaped like a shoe?! It really does. And guess what? Everyone there has to actually wear wooden shoes. Real wooden ones. On their feet! They really do. Not just 'cuz their world is shaped like a shoe but 'cuz their whole world is almost all the way water around it so if they only wear normal shoes all the fish will bite their feet! Have you been there? It's right by that crooked tower that's falling all over." 😂

My ponderer. Right after I took this I asked her what she was thinking about and she said, "I just really don't understand how such a beautiful morning can later change into a rainy day. I'm going to pay attention all day to see how it happens."

These Days, March

YAY March! Isn't March the best? The promise of spring! Bea's birthday! Things are getting green again and flowers are blooming. It's light outside longer and weekends can be spent outdoors instead of in. Our March was really great this year. Bea's birthday and Spring Break each had their own posts, but here are some other little moments from March 2016.
