Those Days, February

February was a big ole love fest for the Four Schneiders. It started off with a really fun celebration of my birthday that involved a sushi date with Josie, pedicures with the girls and really sweet hand-picked gifts that included a “Carri blue” scarf from Bea, “rainbow yoga sandals” from Josie and the Olloclip iphone lens attachments from Lou that I’ve had my eye on next to forever.  They also had a surprise birthday party for me that required everyone to wear pink and eat birthday cake for breakfast. Then we met Grandma & DD for a great birthday brunch.  My favorite thing is that the rest of the family all bought me workout gear. The news of my addiction to CycleBar has made the rounds! My family knows me well!  With nasty weather still the norm, we had lots of inside fun punctuated by some outside winter action – making cool memory boxes that DD gave the girls, playing dress-up and putting on sister fashion shows, getting inspired by Cirque du Soleil, spending a random sunshiny February day daydreaming about spring in the backyard, making school valentines, spending a day off school with Mama, celebrating with a best school buddy on ziplines and trampolines, decorating cookies and drinking bloody mary’s with friends for Valentine’s Day, painting pictures, drawing masterpieces, playing with my new lenses to capture the beauty of world’s longest lasting white roses, getting surprised by three ninjas pelting me with paper stars after returning home one morning from a workout, achieving personal bests in the last swim meet of the season, celebrating a great winter swim season with a best swim buddy sleepover,  celebrating a school snow day with a trip to our favorite (empty) brunch spot,  dancing, dancing and more dancing, snowing snowing, and more snowing, sledding with friends, trying out new styles, learning lots about letters and words, learning to code, getting a little cabin fever, going a little stir crazy, inviting parents to ballet observation day, going on work trips – a whole month of trading mama and papa work trips, waving to the hungry deer in the yard, making EPIC stick bombs,  singing, singing and more singing, building epic skyscrapers, feeling proud of the traction a work project is getting,  and generally loving life.  Here’s the month in pictures!
