Those Days, May

Oh, May! Isn’t May just the best? Our buddy’s brewery had a great pre-launch party. We live in such a beautiful place, and we love exploring it as everything starts to really come to life. Summer was certainly in the air! I had a busy month of work with two trips - one to Seattle to soak up the gorgeous PNW and time with my team (and some really crappy delays, a red eye & travel woes I’d like to forget) and a short one to Washington DC. Lou’s gotten good at sending pics reporting from home. Tiki made some new puppy friends at Doggy Daycare. The school year wound down with the final parent visit day of the year. We had a late Mother’s Day dinner since my mama was in Chicago for the big day. The girls had some fun adventures with friends - a sleepover, a mystery dinner, book club and a trip to the zoo. We bought a new piano from neighbors who were ready to pass it on to a new family. And YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY the pool opened! (Did I mention YAY?!)

Mother's Day 2016

Mother's Day was a lot of fun this year.  The kids woke me up with a cute breakfast treat in bed and flowers. Then we headed downtown to a Reds game. It was pretty cool that the Reds Peanut-Safe Allergy Day lined up. We got to hang out in the box which was even extra super awesome because there was a long rain delay. We had a blast eating tasty ballpark snacks, playing "Heads Up" & hanging out together in style.
