The First (Crazy Early) Snow

Autumn gave way to Winter well before the calendar made it official this year. We had a whacko-early snowfall that broke a nearly 100 year old record for accumulating snow so early in the season. The girls were SOOO excited to wake up to a snowy day. They had a two-hour delayed start to school which meant we quickly transitioned from enjoying the beauty of fallen snow in the sunrise to bundling up and spending as much of that two hour doing what you do on snowy days - sledding, drinking hot cocoa and throwing snow balls. Here are the highlights!
