Those Days, June

June is mostly spent WET! We love our pool so so much, because it means long, lazy days in the sunshine with our closest friends. It also means SWIM TEAM. It's so much fun to be a Clinton Hills Dolphin. This year even more friends joined the team and BEATRICE OFFICIALLY BECAME A DOLPHIN, which meant even more fun! June was a hot one this year, but no day was hotter than DD's Retirement Party. It was 10 billion degrees, but that didn't stop us from giving my Daddy-O the celebration he spent several decades busting his buns to earn. It was a great day of food and friends and a great night of music and dancing. Here are the June highlights. (And lowlights - namely, Tiki's major no bueno shave job.)

Bea's First Hip Hop Showcase

Needless to say, we were all looking forward to Bea's first Hip-Hop Showcase after a whole year of dance practice every Saturday morning. Bea is a BORN dancer and being the performer that she is, we were all ready for the big stage--ESPECIALLY Beatrice. The 'many faces of Bea' makes this all pretty obvious. She was also PUMPED that she got a 'real gold medal' for her performance. I hope she's always this confident, always this courageous and always this awesome.

The "Who Dey" crew danced to the Hip Hop version of "We Will Rock You."

Father's Day 2016

This year we celebrated Lou and all his Papa-Awesomeness with some his favorite activities - sleeping in late, waking up to a pile of donuts, getting gifts from his long-time wishlist, spending the day adventuring and enjoying a delicious meal. 

Happy Father's Day to my Daddy-O as well!
